Songwriter Jamie Jo Harris Launces Rocker-Chic Jewelry Line Belle Coeur

Channeling her rock-and-roll persona, femme fetale songwriter hit a high note with edgy fine collection

MIAMI, FL (January 2011) – Songwriter Jamie Jo Harris is excited to announce the official launch of her rocker-chic jewelry line, aptly titled Belle Coeur, or a “beautiful heart” in French. The brainchild of the burgeoning musician, established fashionista and active philanthropist, Belle Coeur features a number of gem-encrusted, oxidized silver pieces. Created in collaboration with celebrity jeweler Rosalina Lydster of Jewelry by Rosalina, Belle Coeur will donate a portion of proceeds from sales to benefit charity.

Featuring hearts, wings, keys, fleurs-de-lis and musical notes evoking feelings of love, freedom and hope, Belle Coeur offers style with meaning. Whether all united into one design, as seen on the pendant and cuff, or independently styled onto a unique selection of rings and charms, each symbol is adorned with either black, white or pink sapphires – or all of the above.

  • The most basic, yet versatile piece of the collection is a pair of white sapphire-studded earring tops, retailing for $670, that can be worn alone or with charms, and can also be used as clips to attach charms to one’s key ring or belt loops
  • Charms can be worn as accents on the earring tops or on a necklace, and are available in styles including a silver key or fleur-de-lis, pink sapphire-encrusted musical note, and black sapphire-studded double wings, as well as one’s choice of a black or pink sapphire solo wing. Prices range from $460 to $750
  • One of the line’s most ornate pieces, a large key-shaped pendant, features black-sapphire encrusted wings, a pink sapphire heart and a sterling silver fleur-de-lis, as well as an agate- and diamond-encrusted hallmark. Retailing for $3,200, the pendant may be worn around the neck or attached as an accessory to one’s jeans or handbag
  • With a base of thick oxidized silver, the cuff embodies the Belle Coeur mantra, featuring sapphire-encrusted hearts for love, wings for freedom and the same hallmark as the pendant which translates into hope. The cuff is valued at $4,700
  • Available in the shapes of a diamond, oval or heart, the collection of rustic oxidized silver rings each have intricately carved patterns and grooves, and are accented with either black or pink sapphires. Prices range from $1,260 to $1520

Belle Coeur was inspired by Jamie Jo’s three loves: music, fashion and philanthropy. Referred to as the music industry’s next “It Girl,” Jamie Jo is currently working on her third album with Grammy Award-winning producer Rudy Perez.
